Women’s Lacrosse

Played UMD, Virginia Tech, and York College. Lost to UMD and VT but won against York

Men’s Ultimate

Saturday we nearly came back form being down 6-1 against George Mason, losing 10-9. Sunday we beat Maryland 13-12 and crushed Mary Washington 13-6

Men’s Rugby

Had a match against Mount Saint Mary’s and won both games against A side and B side

Roller Hockey

Preaseason Weekend in Feasterville, PA. Lost to Rowan 3-2, and Hofstra 5-4 while beating Stony Brook 6-3

Women’s Ultimate

Tournament in Nashville, TN. went 3-3 overall beating Abbatorie and UTennesse-Knoxville

Men’s Golf

Club Golf made their first tournament of the year in Petersburg, VA. As a club our team did not fair too well, however Harry Stokes and Jeremey Goodwin played very well.

October 12-14, 2012

Men’s Lacrosse

Traveled to College Park to take on the University of Maryland in a fall game and won 7-6 in double overtime.

Women’s Rugby

Beat George Mason University in their second and final matrix match 29-26. Most likely going to play-offs now.

Flag Football

All teams lost

Roller Hockey

Games in Broomall, PA. Tied West Chester 5-5, Beat Temple 2-1, and Rowan 4-2, but lost to Slippery Rock

Figure Skating

Competition in Lynchburg, VA against 14 other schools which included Dartmouth, Delaware, Northeastern, Liberty, Johns Hopkins, Cornell, Duke, Penn State, and Boston University. Potentially ranked 8th overall and brought home a bronze medal from the dance event.

Women’s Basketball

Games at University of Maryland College Park and Princeton University. Played Loyola, Penn State and Clemson at UMD and played Princeton, Rutgers, and Drexel at Princeton.

Tennis Club

Won 4 of 13 matches played. Score was 59-82 overall.

Surf Club

Took a trip down to Avon, NC. Great waves and a lot of new members learned to surf

Men’s Lacrosse

Traveled to UMBC and won 7-4 with a solid performance from both defense and offense.

Flag Football

Traveled to Oregon Ridge Park and went 1-1

Women’s Ultimate

Traveled to Gettysburg, PA. Hammertime went 6-1 for the overall tournament, losing in the championship game to Gettysburg. Placed second beating IUP, Millersville, St. Mary’s, Geneseo, John Carroll, and Shippensburg.

Field Hockey

Traveled to the University of Maryland for the Breast Cancer Awareness Game. Lost 1-4.

Dodgeball

Won our first ever National Recognized Match vs VCU 12-0. Also played University of Kentucky who were National Runner-Ups last year and only lost 3-1.

Ice Hockey

Traveled to play Cornell and Scranton. Beat Cornell 8-2 and Scranton 7-2.

Women’s Soccer

Traveled to George Mason University and beat them 3-1. Qualified for the Conference Tournament this upcoming weekend at the Naval Academy.

Men’s Ultimate

Beat George Mason and UVA while having close losses to UMBC and Georgetown.

Men’s Golf

Andrew Wiley was lone TU member. Posting scored of 73-77 for the weekend. Jeremy Goodwin was 2nd on the team with 79-77. Unfortunately TU finished 6th out of 8.

October 26-28, 2012

Men’s Lacrosse

Traveled to West Virginia University and played Pitt, WVU, and Miami Ohio and beat every team. Closest game was against Miami Ohio 6-4

Flag Football

Went to playoffs at UNC Wilmington and lost in quarfterfinals. Played UNC Wilmington, UNC Pembrook and Georgia State.

Men’s Rugby

Played a well fought game against biggest rival, Salisbury. Unfortunately came up short 15-12 with a loss.

Field Hockey

Traveled to University of Maryland and beat George Washington University 2-1 but lost against UPitt and Loyola of Chicago.

Softball

Traveled to the University of Maryland and played three games, losing two 13-7, and 12-0, while winning the third game 10-17

Women’s Rugby

Traveled to American University and lost 10-36, ending the season. Lyla Shapiro and Marya Asad scored tries.

Ice Hockey

Traveled to West Chester University and lost both games.

Swim Club

Traveled to the University of Maryland and competed against UMD, Temple, West Chester, and Loyola in a duel meet. Swimmers did very well with multiple heat winners and high ranking positions in the results.

Tennis

Had a tennis match at UMBC and won 8 out of the 10 games played. Overall game score was 68-36.

November 2-4, 2012

Women’s Lacrosse

Traveled to Penn State and played Bucknell and West Chester on Saturday winning both games. On Sunday they played Villanova and Penn State, losing to Penn State 6-13

Flag Football

Traveled to Oregon Ridge Park to compete in playoffs for leauge games and lost in semi-finals.

Equestrian

Traveled to The college of William and Mary and competed, winning four 2nd place ribbons.

Ice Hockey

Played Penn State Berks and UMBC, beating both teams.

Men’s Rugby

Played Johns Hopkins and won 50-3

Rock Climbing

Rock Climbing traveled to Philadelphia to compete in a rock climbing event. No winners but one member won the costume contest.

Rock Climbing

Rock Climbing Club traveled to Earthtreks in Rockville to participate in a competition. all climbers pushed their limits and climbed harder routes.

Ice Hockey

Beat Lehigh University 6-3 at their home rink in Abington, MD

Flag Football

Towson had three teams all go to the University of Maryland. The Men’s team was in the final eight and the Co-Ed team won the Championship in overtime against Stockton University

Women’s Soccer

Traveled to George Washington and tied 2-2.

Roller Hockey

Traveled to Harrisburg, PA and lost to Pittsburg, West Chester, and Slipper Rock

Men’s Ultimate

Traveled to Wilmington, NC and went 1-5. Lost to Princeton, Penn State, Suny-Buffalo, James Madison and Georgetwon, but beat UNC Wilmington.

Tennis

Had a match against George Mason and played five matches.

Men’s Rugby

Traveled to Columbia, MD for the National Quarterfinals. Played Georgetown on Saturday and won 54-3 and played Salisbury on Sunday losing 28-0

Equestrain

Had a IHSA show at their home training location Featherdown Farm where all riders placed

Women’s Ultimate

Hammertime went 6-1 overall and claimed the championship game for the second year in a row. They defeated VCU (13-8), Maryland B (13-2), Catholic (13-2), Mary Washington (15-2), James Madison (13-6), and Maryland A (10-6).

Ice Hockey

Played Villanova in a home series winning both games

Roller Hockey

Traveled to Feasterville, PA and went 3-1 with two wins against Buffalo and Brockport and a lose to Pittsburg

Women’s Soccer

Travled to Memphis TN to compete in the NIRSA National Soccer Tournament. Went 1-3 losing to Vanderbilt, UCLA, and Salt Lake City and getting a bye.

Men’s Golf

Scrimmaged the Delaware Golf club at Rock Harbor in Winchester, VA. Harry Stokes scored 162 in a two round score and Rob Timken finished second with a two round total of 176

Men’s Ultimate

Traveled to College Park, MD with two teams. The B team beat Hofstra A and lost to Georgetown B, Johns Hopkins, and UMBC. The A team beat Messiah, Georgetown B, Johns Hopkins, and UMBC and lost to Princetone, UMD College Park, and Delaware.

Swim Club

Had a dual meet at University of Delaware against UD, Temple, and Maryland. Came in 7th place for Women’s and 5th place for Men.

Women’s Lacrosse

Traveled to East Carolina University and played against University of Virginia, Radford, and East Carolina Universty. They beat Radford and ECU but lost to UVA.

Tennis Club

Traveled to Loyola University and lost

December 1-2, 2012

Track Club

Traveled to a local 5K, The Mancave 5k, in Towson. Katie Levine and Meghan Henry recieved awards for placing 2nd and 3rd in their division

Rock Climbing Club

Towson took placements in the Intermediate level at the Johns Hopkins competition this past weekend. They showed up strong, having many climbers present both in the club and out.

Ice Hockey

Unfortunately lost both games this past weekend against Drexel 6-4 and 4-2.

Dodgeball

Towson won it’s first ever championship in the co-rec division. Men’s and women’s teams both reached the semis.

Women’s Ultimate

Traveled to University of Maryland and beat UMD in the first game 10-6. They lost to Backhanded Compliments by a lot and then lost the final game overall going 2-2.
